PAGASA alerted the residents in areas identified as landslide prone amidst the expected rains brought about by the tropical depression Falcon.
"Humok na man ang atong yuta hilabi na kanang duol sa sapa tungod kay last week pa ni ang atong pag-ulan tungod sad sa bagyong Egay. So, mag alerto lang gyud ta," said weather observer Al Alcazar.
Although Falcon was spotted 670 km East of Borongan, Eastern Samar as of yesterday, Cebu we will continue to experience scattered rainshowers because of southwest monsoon or "Habagat".
Alcazar said Falcon has a maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near its center and is forecasted to move west northwest at 19 kph.
Falcon is also forecasted at 440 km east of Virac, Catanduanes this morning; 420 km east northeast of Casiguran, Aurora by Thursday morning; and by Friday morning at 350 km east of Basco, Batanes.
